It started when I was six years old and a house was being built across the street. I had a little kid wheelbarrow and a hammer I “borrowed” from my dad. The carpenters generously shared their scraps of wood and a few handfuls of nails with the little boy who showed up every day after school. The ensuing tree house building frenzy lit a fire for carpentry in me that still burns today. The fire may have smoldered a bit while I was pursuing a degree in Economics from the University of Oregon but it never went out. After graduation I decided to pursue a career in construction. What started as a childhood passion building tree houses has grown into a career as a carpenter and a contractor. Thirty some years later you will find me on a job with tools happily in my hands. And we can always find some scraps of wood for a young tree house builder.

Several years ago I got a phone call on Thanksgiving evening. The client couldn’t wait to share how perfect the first Thanksgiving in her new kitchen had been. For me this is what remodeling is all about. Where we work isn’t a jobsite it’s a home. We want to help you make your home a better place for you and your family.
